Subsequently, Simarjeet stepped into the first-class arena, marking his debut for Delhi in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on November 20, 2018. Simarjeet made his debut in the 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on November 11, 2019.

Singh’s debuted at the national level became in June 2021 when he was selected as one of the five net bowlers for India’s tour of Sri Lanka.
