Ayush Badoni Controversy:

As per the sizzling headlines on www.indiatoday.in, Ayush Badoni was told to sit at the hotel by DDCA officials to teach an ‘IPL star’ lesson

In their fourth match against Uttarakhand in Mohali, Delhi made an unanticipated decision by excluding batsman Ayush Badoni from the squad.

With his coach Tarak Sinha

Badoni was asked to stay back at the team hotel at the request of prominent Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) officials.

In addition, there are claims of pressure to include Kshitiz Sharma in the team due to his close association with a former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office bearer.

The situation took another interesting turn when it was revealed that Badoni was not even permitted to watch the game from the VIP gallery on the ground. The DDCA official quoted logical reasons, such as the absence of nets and meal arrangements, as the validation behind keeping Badoni at the hotel.
