Tammy Beaumont is the wicket-keeper of England’s women’s cricket team.Tammy started her cricket journey at a young age, with strong support from her family members who played a crucial role in her development. At one point, Tammy, her brother, and her father were all part of the same team.
Tammy was born on March 11, 1991, in Dover, Kent. Tammy faced challenges early on due to food allergies that affected her physical growth. As a result, she couldn’t secure a spot in the Kent U-11 team.
In an effort to build her muscles, Tammy’s mother suggested she take up Gymnastics, which led her to win the National Gymnastics Championships. Along with her sporting efforts, Beaumont pursued her education and graduated in Chemistry and Sports Science from Loughborough University.
