Dhruv Jurel and his family:
Born in Agra on January 21, 2001, Dhruv Chand Jurel is the complete name of Dhruv Jurel. He is well recognized for his work as a batsman (wicketkeeper) for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League and for his domestic cricket side, the Uttar Pradesh team. In 2021, Jurel started playing cricket domestically, and in 2023, he joined an IPL franchise.

Dhruv Jurel had different goals in mind for the country than his father, former Indian Army Havaldar Nem Singh Jurel, who intended the boy to join the military. The veteran of the Kargil War believed that his son was going to carry on the family tradition, but Jurel had earlier made cricket his career. His father desired for him to go to the National Defense Academy (NDA).
Once, his father demanded that he play sports when he was in eighth grade, so he and his two buddies went to the facility and filled out an application for a 60-day summer camp. He became aware that he aspired to play this gentleman’s game after seeing a batter strike the ball brilliantly.In light of this, his friend started swimming and adopted the Cricket form.

Cricket is a costly sport, as seen by the high cost of the equipment required for play. He once asked his father to get a cricket kit for him, but he turned him down. Then he made threats to leave his home while he locked himself in the bathroom. India Under 19- He represented the country’s under-19 team in international competitions and served as the national team’s second-in-command(Vice-caption) at the 2020 under-19 World Cup. In the 2019 Young Asia Cup, he also served as captain of the India under-19 team.
T20 Cricket debut- On January 10, 2021, he played in his first T20 international match in Alur against Punjab. Additionally, he has only managed to score 244 runs with his bat in the 23 T20 cricket matches that he has had the opportunity to play.
