Agni Chopra Biography:

Agni Chopra, son of film critic Anupama Chopra and filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has achieved a huge achievement by becoming the first batter to score centuries in his first four first-class games.

Agni had his debut for Mizoram in the Ranji Trophy Plate League and has impressively scored 105, 101, 114, 10, 164, 15, 166, and 92 in his first four Ranji games, averaging 95.87 with a strike rate of 111.80.

Detroit-born Agni Dev Chopra has made headlines in Indian cricket with his exceptional performances in the Ranji Trophy Plate League. Born on November 4, 1998, the 25-year-old left-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler has swiftly risen to popularity, becoming the first player to achieve a rare feat in his initial four first-class games.

Having represented Mumbai Under-19 and Under-23, Agni shifted to Mizoram on the advice of his coach Khuspreet Singh, who suggested playing for a team where he would get more playing time.

Despite the change, Agni has felt welcomed and included in Mizoram, aiming to help the team qualify for the Plate League final.

Agni stressed that he didn’t enter the film industry like his father and instead pursued his passion for cricket. His father’s advice was to work hard to be the best in any chosen field, emphasizing hard work and dedication.

Agni was grateful to his parents for the freedom his parents gave him to pursue his interests and acknowledged the impact of their work ethic on his own pursuits.
