Stuart Broad Wife:
Stuart Broad family life has had its share of tragic events. In 2001, Stuart stepmother, Miche, took her own life after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. The day before her death, the family had gathered for a barbecue, unaware that it was Miche’s way of saying goodbye.
Stuart later expressed that it was a huge shock to discover the real reason behind her seemingly peaceful demeanor. But, he finds some comfort in knowing that she died on her own terms, not wanting to suffer any longer. Stuart’s father, a former England cricketer and umpire, took months off to be Miche’s care giver before her sudden death.
In terms of his personal life, Stuart Broad is engaged to Mollie King, a singer and member of the girl group “The Saturdays.” They got engaged on New Year’s Day in 2021.
They welcomed their daughter, Annabella, in November 2022. Mollie had announced her pregnancy earlier in the year, sharing the happy news on Instagram.
On July 29, 2023, Stuart announced his retirement from professional cricket live on Sky Sports.
