At the domestic front, Sutherland plays for Victoria in the Women’s National Cricket League and the Melbourne Stars in the Women’s Big Bash League. Notably, Annabel made her debut for the Melbourne Renegades at the age of 15, emerging as the youngest player to feature in the Big Bash at the time.
Her talent was visible early on, as she also represented Australian under 15 and under 19 cricket teams. Recognizing her potential, Cricket Australia awarded her a contract with the National Performance Squad in April 2019.
